Creating an Identity system for myself was a fun and exciting task. After weeks of research on what I enjoy doing, what styles I like and what truly inspires me, I found thatmy edge in design is simple, clean and meaningful. In the process of creating my mark, I wanted to have a slogan that branded my name which is now “tuned to think”.“Tuned to Think” came about when I started playing around with the two t’s from my last name and I noticed that when the second “t” was flipped it created a “2” in the counter form of the mark. The message behind the slogan conveyss what I do best as a graphic designer, think of creative solutions. From there on out I was glued onto this idea/slogan, moved forward and started creating my business cards, letterhead and envelopes based on “Tuned to Think”

Great brands begin with a great logo. As I start brainstorming concepts and words for the logo, I sketch, brainstorm typefaces, color palettes, and styles. As I create a logo, I make sure before handing it off to the client that the final product that is memorable and meaningful.
Here are are few of the Clients I helped along the way.
I chose to recreate Anthony Burgess's novel 'A Clockwork Orange' to fit a modern audience of young adult readers. The muted dark color palette evokes a message of violent nature of humans and human free will to choose between good or evil. The concept behind the cover is using Alex’s (the main character) prison numbers in a clockwork cog form to illustrate that Alex has no freewill in Prison; he is just a number and nothing else.
These novel posters turn iconic pieces of literature inside out by using the text itself to illustrate the story. Each one uses the complete text of a favorite book to create a bold silhouette of one of the novels main characters. Visit NovelPoster

These playing cards were created for a yacht club audience of avid card players who enjoy nautical design and patterns. The full deck of 54 cards has four different suits and each suit includes the cards A-K. Face cards and number cards are differentiated by the Sailboats on the face cards and muted sailboat wheel patterns on the number cards. The sailboats change in color depending on each suit.
While doing research for a typography experiment, I found by using a bottle full of water and taping a printout of text behind it can give off a distorted effect due to refraction. In doing so, I created created this logo and packaging for Vizualeyez.
Vizualeyez is an eyeglasses company that sells glasses, eye drops and lens cleaning supplies.
This postcard set was created to inform the student body of Sacramento State University about the upcoming debut of the popular musical, “Hair”. Each postcard captures the three main themes of the musical by using original photography of paper and light. The three themes include Peace, Freewill, and Sexual Freedom. The colors interweave throughout the 4 postcards and each color was chosen to evoke a certain emotion for each theme. The hierarchy of information found in the play is displayed similarly, yet in different positions on each card to help create a system that works together when viewed as a whole.

Brief: Create a dynamic front and back 16” x 20” poster directed to the new generation of music lovers attending the Festival of New American Music at Sacramento State. With the popularity of electronic music, I wanted to translate the sound elements and rhythmic qualities of electronic music into a visual form using geometric shapes and vibrant colors.
